Wojciech Biernacki heads the New Technologies Law practice at Grant Thornton, where he guides entrepreneurs in protecting and commercialising digital products—including AI-based solutions—while ensuring regulatory compliance. For nearly a decade he has specialised in the creative industries, crafting strategies to secure and monetise intellectual property for leading music authors, performers and other entertainment-sector innovators. His portfolio spans designing brand-protection frameworks, defending know-how, and representing clients before the Polish Patent Office and the EU Intellectual Property Office.
A doctoral candidate at the European Law Chair of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Wojciech serves as principal investigator on research grants exploring data governance, artificial intelligence and the EU digital single market. His academic path includes research residencies and specialist courses in Italy and Germany. He has published widely and is a regular speaker at international conferences on EU law, emerging technologies and intellectual property. This blend of scholarly insight and practical advocacy underpins his mission to help innovators navigate risk, unlock value and drive responsible technological progress.
